1.i Start with search

I begin without a finished image in my mind. I choose a maximum of three colors and carefully distribute them across the entire surface. Then I go over the canvas with the brush, looking for initial anchor points – places that will guide me further.

2.i Trust the intuition
At first, I'm still focused and control my movements. But with each new layer, the image changes. I work horizontally and vertically, layer by layer. In doing so, I gradually relinquish more and more control and trust my intuition.

3. Flow instead of control
At some point, I stop consciously directing the image. I let happen what wants to happen. I become one with the moment. Time and control fade into the background. I only follow what feels right.

Then the picture becomes clear. I hardly intervene anymore. When I feel: Now it's right, then it's finished.
