Series "Faces and Legends": emotional, hopeful, legendary

 

This series was created in 2021 during the lockdown—a period of uncertainty and silence. Amid these challenges, the desire to provide light and hope was born.

 

“Faces and Legends” is a visual homage to those people who inspire and encourage through their charisma.

 

Each portrait shows a face full of expression—emotionally radiant, vibrant. Some figures are real, others symbolic, but all are connected by a deeper meaning.

 

Three central ideas shape the selection:

  • Luminosity of inspiration – people whose presence inspires hope.

  • Courage of humanity – personalities who act with heart and clarity.

  • Echo of memory – figures that evoke positive emotions and deep-rooted memories.

  •  

The series deliberately avoids black—because for me, black doesn't represent what I want to convey. Instead, colors carry the feeling and the message; they speak of warmth, joy, and inner peace.

"Faces and Legends" is far more than a portrait series. It is a reminder of the power of art and its ability to provide support. In challenging times, creative works connect us, provide light, and reveal the depth of human emotion.
